Nabisco (National Biscuit Company) came up with the Oreo Cookies in front of the world in 1912. Though it wasn’t recognized as a cookie, but given the name of “Oreo Biscuit.” The company took a step ahead and filed for the cookie’s trademark on 6th March 1912 and received it by 14th March 1912.
In the beginning, Oreo was sold for only 25 cents (pound) and was available in a can with the exact upper part. After nine years, the first Oreo came into the market. Later, the National Biscuit Company made a change in the name by “Oreo Sandwich.” In the 1920s, Oreo encountered several transformations, and it was a new Oreo design that came in 1924. After the end of World War II, and it became “Oreo Creme Sandwich” in 1948.
Many Oreo varieties came in introduced and were made out in front of the world from the passing time. It includes Double Stuf Oreo (1974), Footbal Oreo (1976), Big Stuf Oreo (1987), Oreo Minis (1991), Mega Stuff Oreos (2013), and lastly, Oreo Thins (2015).
