Why National Vision Board Day?
A Vision board is a creative tool that helps you to have a clear goal approach by focusing on one small goal after another.
You can use Vision boards for any goal in your life. Be it a relationship, business, art, travel, decoration, and career reinvention as well! They help you every step of the way towards your goals at work and at home.
The idea for National Board Day was inspired by vision board parties that began in 2010. It was initiated as a tangible, non-judgemental, and fun way to pursue a dream, have a vision, and set goals.
The vision boards would be filled with the individual’s vision and goals for a fresh start this year! They are encouraged to make it creative and unique to look up each day and remind themselves of their dream goal to make practical as well as quantifiable efforts towards the set goals.
It is very easy to get distracted in this ever-changing world. Recent studies show that you can get interrupted every 11 minutes on average. There is so much happening in the world and quickly things change from the one best thing to the next best thing within minutes! Having a vision board helps you to keep a check on things that are not your priority.
And many seem to have lost without direction and vision. This Vision Board Day encourages individuals to think about their dreams without having to do it under stress! A word of encouragement and a little tap on the shoulder goes a long way in any one’s life. It is an optimistic way to tell yourself that the past is over and what lies ahead is what matters.
The vision boards help you to focus on your goals this new year with some much-needed fun! Get your markers, sticky notes, and inspirational quotes ready to create your vision board today!
Today many scientists, students, professors, actors, artists, designers, musicians, and people from various walks of life participate in National Vision Board Day.
