History:
When you explore the history of a national day, it can double the excitement of the celebration. According to a source, the first mention of Tequila dates back to Mesoamerican times around 1000 B.C. It was a popular liquor among Mexican tribes.
However, commercial tequila was produced during the 16th century. Don Pedro Sánchez de Tagle, a Spanish aristocrat, founded the world’s first tequila factory in Jalisco. Now, this place is popular as the city of Tequila.
Later, in 1795, Don Jose Antonio de Cuervo founded the world’s most successful tequila brand. Even though the history of tequila is clear, we were unable to find a strong source of this day. Regardless, both Mexico and the US have different celebrations.
