National Ferret Day

World Autism Awareness Day

First launched in 2008 by the US General Assembly, it is a day to raise awareness of autism and the obstacles that people living with this condition face. It also serves as an opportunity to promote acceptance and support for individuals living with autism, as well as their families and caregivers.
ASD affects approximately 1 in 54 children in the United States alone and can present itself differently in everyone who has it. Some symptoms include difficulty socializing, repetitive behaviors, sensory sensitivities, anxiety, depression, lack of eye contact, and communication difficulties.
