Bulldogs, whether French, American, or English, each represent glamor in an own manner. It’s true that people can’t get away with having a lot of wrinkles and slobber, but bulldogs have perfected the skill. About five centuries ago, they first appeared as fuzzy friends in historical literature.

Battle of San Jacinto
Every year, the state of Texas observes this day in remembrance of the Battle of San Jacinto, also called as the Batalla de San Jacinto, which put an end to the Texas Revolution in the Texas cities of La Porte and Pasadena. The Republic of Texas attained independence on this date as well.

Tiradentes Day
Tiradentes is a Latin name that means “tooth puller.” As strange as that may sound, every Brazilian respects it. Dentist Joaquim Jose da Silva Xavier, often known as Tiradentes, led an uprising against Portuguese power in Brazil in 1789. On this date, Tiradentes was executed by hanging in Rio de Janeiro’s Praca Tiradentes plaza.
