Celebrated on the first Thursday of November, every year. This day is dedicated to two main objectives – to give the woman of the house a break and for men to experience cooking and their way around the kitchen! Isn’t that exciting?!

WHY MEN MAKE DINNER DAY?
Men have been Cooking in recent times, and most of them are excellent at it. However, Men Make Dinner Day is a special day dedicated to giving your Spouse, Mother, or Sister a break from cooking dinner. If you are a profound Cook, this day will be a cakewalk, but you could perk the day with a challenging recipe!
If you are new to the kitchen, this day is an opportunity to express your gratitude for your family and friends who have made dinner for you, impress your wife or girlfriend, or just cook to explore your cooking skills and kitchen knowledge.
It is always nice to cook! So if you hit it off, take turns to cook if you’d like or at least you can help with the ingredients and meal prep!

There are plenty of simple dessert recipes! You can make a simple jelly or fruit salad! If you want to have an edge, bake their favorite cake!

There is nothing more romantic than setting the tables with her favorite smelling candles. Sit down and enjoy your dinner over dessert and extended conversation about the day, the challenges you faced and the fun part! HISTORY OF NATIONAL MEN MAKE DINNER DAY:
It is believed that Sandy Sharky founded this day in 1998. She happened to be working at a radio station, 93.9 BOB FM in Ontario, Canada! She eventually came up with a website for this day www.menmakedinnerday.com for which on November 9th, 2001, she received a Canadian trademark #1, 115,706 for the name and the event. Sandy says she created this day so that she would get at least one meal a year that would be prepared by her husband who doesn’t like cooking!
Although research suggests that there seem to be no proclamations from the President or Congress to consider this as a “National Day”
