The day is for the perfect enjoyment with the chocolate wafer, a chocolate flavored biscuit type snack food. When we think about wafers, the first thing comes to our mind is the bar shaped wafer layered with variety of flavors that we had in our school days.
People who might have born in 1970 to 1980 decade knew well about the wafer that costs only few pennies. Now things have been changed, from ice creams to pie crust, wafers has become a prominent ingredient. Wafer now is an extravagance biscuit. Wafers dunked in ice creams are more delicious. Wafer cones coated with the chocolate to serve ice cream are magnificent specifically to the children.

Step 1: Take quarter cup of margarine or sugar in a bowl.mix an egg and 3 tablespoon of cocoa powder, and 5 tablespoon of sugar. You can also add strawberry or vanilla extract instead of cocoa powder. Agitate it nicely until it turns creamy and frothy.
Step 2: add a cup of flour, 1 teaspoon of baking soda, mix the dough well and place in the refrigerator for overnight.
Step 3: shape the dough at whatever the shape you want.
Step 4: sprinkle oil in the baking sheet. Place the shaped dough in the sheet and bake it for 10 minutes. Cool it for few minutes and the wafer is ready.
Enjoy this day with the home-made chocolate wafers. Or else you can get a pre made chocolate wafer bars from the grocery shops to make a mock tail ice cream on your own.

Step 1: take a y shaped glass. Take a scoop of vanilla ice cream and place it in the glass. Spread a layer of tutti fruity.
Step 2: take a normal sized chocolate bar and melt it. Add half amount of the melted chocolate in a small bowl and add 5 tablespoons of crushed wafer. Stir it well. Pour it in the glass.
Step 3: add a scoop of strawberry ice cream.
Step 4: add a scoop of whipped cream.
Step 5: dip 4 chocolate wafer bar in the glass.
Step 6: finally sprinkle the remaining melted chocolate on the wafer bar. Sprinkle the broken chocolate gems and it is done.
