Step 1: Take some bread crumbs and toast it for 2 to 3 minutes or until it becomes golden color and keep aside.This toasting method of breadcrumbs adds more flavor to the dish.
Step 2: Slice the chicken breast, leaving the edge to get it connected. Stuff with cheese. You can add ham or mushroom if you want. since I personally don’t like ham, I don’t add here.
Step 3: Coat it with mayonnaise and dip in egg mixture to make it more crispy
Step 4: finally sprinkle with bread crumbs and deep fry it.
Step 5: Cut into two pieces horizontally and garnish with Coriander leaves before Serving. Serves along with tomato sauce and French fries.

The origin of this is uncertain, however, there is an interesting history for cordon bleu itself.
Though it is reported to be originated from Switzerland.The use of chicken breast instead of Veal is said to be an American dish. Since Cincinnati Gourmet Stanley demos mentioned in Cincinati Enquirer, that to use chicken instead of veal before some decades ago, exactly by the year 1967.
The term “Cordon Bleu” is derived from French, which means “blue ribbon”.In accordance with the book Larousse Gatronomique, Cordon bleu is a blue ribbon apparently worn by the highly ranked knights of Henri III of France.Later the same name is given to the food prepared by high standard cooks.The ribbons present in the cook aprons were also made up of blue color.
The Dish is mentioned as “Chicken Cordon Bleu” in the Newspaper ”The New York Times” in around 1967.Probably the origin of this dish is to be in Switzerland where it is popular as “Schnitzel” during the year 1940.
