Why National Parents as Teachers Day?
The Parents as Teachers Centre in Missouri started promoting this idea in the 1970s Where Missouri educators witnessed many children starting Kindergarten with various levels of school readiness.
Parents as Teachers organization now observe this day by offering various educational services and resources to help children learn to reach their maximum potential.
Research also shows that healthy parental involvement is an important link in the child’s overall learning skills.
Parents can understand their child’s temper better than teachers at school, so parents can be involved wherever the child needs help.
