National Learn to Swim Day was created in the year 2012 by Swimways, a brand which sells swimming related products. Swimways further offers swimming courses regardless of age and gender. The day was created to promote swimming, its health benefits and regulations to be followed for Water Safety. Previously it was started as a small event. However, several corporations like “target and Toys” had joined along with Swimways and promoted this event by providing several Swim items at some discounted price. Thus, this day is being observed globally. Perhaps, We, Civilians of the United States play a pivotal role in the deployment of Water Safety Regulations. Unless we follow, Implementation of such regulations never works.
